Aisin Develops Ultrahigh-Efficiency Motor Using Soft Magnetic Alloy from Tohoku Magnet Institute 

Aisin Corporation has developed an ultrahigh-efficiency motor jointly with Tohoku Magnet Institute using TMI’s newly developed nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy, Nanomet. Aisin invested in TMI in June of last year and a prototype of the motor was exhibited at the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2023, held recently in Yokohama. Mahle Order from Deutz for H2 Engine Components Seen As ‘Lighthouse Deal’ 

Mahle has received a series order from engine manufacturer Deutz for the development and supply of power cell units for hydrogen engines. The units consist of the piston, the piston ring pack and the piston pin which Deutz plans to use in stationary hydrogen engines for the first time from the end of 2024.
